Singapore, 15 December 2010 - Linde Gas Singapore (LGS) has been awarded Business Superbrand status in Singapore, confirming its position as one of the country’s strongest business-to-business brands.
Business Superbrands is an internationally recognised programme which pays tribute to the best and most valued business-to-business brands around the world. The programme makes its debut in Singapore this year, and is the first country in Asia to roll out this brand promotional platform.
Participation in Business Superbrands programme is strictly by invitation only. The brands are identified by an independent and voluntary Superbrands Brand Panel which evaluates their Superbrands quality based on five criteria: reputation, market share, achievement, recognition and social responsibility.
LGS scored 21 points out of a possible 25, far exceeding the 15 points required to qualify as a Business Superbrand.
